Information for the 2025 reporting year

Forms for the notification of plant protection products and active substance quantities

Electronic notification forms as well as comprehensive information on the changes and corresponding completion instructions are available for the notification of active substances and plant protection product quantities for 2025.

The forms have functionalities that are intended to ensure standardised data transmission. It should be noted that the notifications must subsequently be submitted electronically using the forms only.

Legal basis

Pursuant to Section 6(1) of the Plant Protection Products Ordinance 2011, Federal Law Gazette II No. 233/2011 as amended (hereinafter "Plant Protection Products Ordinance 2011"), authorisation and licence holders must notify the Federal Office for Food Safety in writing within two months of the end of the calendar year:

  1. the names (according to internationally recognised or equivalent customary designations) and the quantities of the individual active substances of the plant protection products they place on the domestic market (Austria) each year and the plant protection products they remove from the domestic market each year and
  2. the trade names, authorisation numbers and quantities of the individual plant protection products which they place on the market in Austria each year and which they remove from Austria each year.

Pursuant to Section 13 para. 3 of the Plant Protection Products Ordinance 2011, this reporting obligation also applies to holders of distribution extensions pursuant to Section 13 para. 1 leg.cit.
